30 weeks on Sat......

Well hello my peeps!


As I sit here and write this blog my heartburn is beyond insane!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure if it was the water I just drank or the Jasmine Tea (what the hell!) but it's through the roof! 


Other than that crazy crap, life is good. Just got over being sick (food poison) ya that was not fun! Poor Phil got a good chance to see what a 3am wake up call is like LOL. Poor guy.......he did great though! Took care of me and got me all better :) whew. Had 2 days off work too cause I was so depleted after yacking my brains out :( 


ANYWAYS! Other than that, life is good I swear. We have been so blessed with people giving us so much great hand me downs! I just got a stroller and car seat today from one of my parents at work! Its perfect and amazing and I cannot believe it! 


My boss and staff members are throwing me my first baby shower on Sat where the kids can come from my work and the parents too, food, drinks good fun etc. Should be great! A parent already dropped off 900 baby wipes from costco for us! 900!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! excuse me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 900!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hard to imagine that we will go through it all but I guess we will.....ugh. 


Baby Jo is moving like a crazy person!!!!!!!!!!! She is just making her way in my tummy. Literally the most insane thing in the world. Sometimes its hurtful and shocking but its only for a quick moment. Weird stuff!


Tuesday is our next baby app. We go every 2 weeks now. She is measuring "perfect" and seems to be doing just fine. 


We also start our birthing classes on Feb. 9th for a month! Very exciting! 


We also have met with my friend Laura who is a Doula and we had a great 2 hour talk about what she does and how she can help us through this in a more positive light. I just love her!

27 weeks, almost 7 months :)

Well well well.......it's a new year 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe how fast this year has gone....with the wedding and now this baby, whew....I'm exhausted haha. 


We have 3 more months to go (seems like forever but I know it will go quick) 


Phil has been such a huge help here at the house, he is helping me nest and move stuff around and get this place baby ready, he is rad. 


My mama has also been a huge help with organizing all this baby stuff, been getting a ton of hand me downs which is been soooooooo amazing! Cannot believe all my rad family and friends that have given us baby stuff! so cool :)


Taking some more time off work now, down to 6 hrs a day which is still a lot but whatever....


Still been taking a ton of baths and trying to sleep, which is not going so well. My sleep is and always will be the most important thing in my life! But, with baby Jo moving so much and trying new positions ugh.....and with our 2 cats on my feet.....good lord! 


Other than that, life is good and moving right along.....

Honeymoon Pictures and update.....

Well, we are back from our lovely honeymoon in Cabo San Lucus! It was perfect! Great weather (80 and sunny) the food was great, hotel room was great, the bottled water was amazing!!!!!!!! Haha.

We took a ton of pics (on facebook) but I will post some on here.

I turned 6 months on Sat. Dec. 11th....and feeling good. She is growing more and more and I have a very clear pregnant belly now. It's crazy to be able to tell where her hands and feet are by her kicking. Phil is loving the fact that he can feel her move almost daily now. She seemed to like the sun and enjoyed the tan her mama got :)

I have a doc's app on monday for a normal check up.

We have our holiday hours at work so less work for me, thank god. Still getting tired at the end of the day.....what else is new?! Haha.

Honeymoon.....6 months later LOL....and 6 months pregnant LOL

Hello everyone, well we are finally going on our honeymoon to Cabo Mexico! So excited, you have NO idea!

We leave on Thursday and get back Tues of next week. 5 nights, 6 days....man o man! 80 degrees and sun....bring it on!

I'm starting to really feel pregnant, starting to slow down a little bit.....I still have energy, but the moment I sit down with my feet up I'm done! HAHA.

Philip has been really helpful, especially around the house :) My good friend let me borrow her elliptical exercise machine and its been rad to get moving again...don't worry I'm going slow!

Johanna is kicking more and more, mainly in the morning and at night when I lay down...she kicked Phil really hard the other night, he just had a huge smile on his face. It's a pretty weird feeling to have something moving in your tummy, naw.....its a CRAZY feeling!

We are still settling in at our new house, it's coming along though. Got a Christmas tree up! yahoo!

Very excited to leave this rain and cold......Ill post pics when we get back :)

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 

I am cooking my Dad's world famous onions (as he claims) They are wonderful and yummy. 

We are off to Glenn and Nancy's for a lovely night of food and family and friends. 

Baby Johanna is moving so much now, really showing me where her legs are haha. 

Hopefully she likes onions :) 

Life is wonderful, a lot to be thankful for this year! Wedding and marriage to my wonderful husband Philip, moving into our first home, baby Johanna, health, family, friends, kittens, a job, food, pumpkin pie..............so much! :)

FYI, I'm not registered at Old Navy but right now there are huge sales on baby girl clothes (SUPER CHEAP) and lots of PENGUIN stuff too. (For those who know me) FYI :)

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well its official, we are having a baby girl! Very exciting :)

Dr. Herold says everything is still perfect and all the baby parts are growing just as they should be!

We are all cleared to go to Mexico on Dec. 9th, dont worry I wont drink the water! LOL.

So happy, had a great time after the appointment with Mom, Dad, Erin, Marylou and Philip. It was an absolute beautiful day here in Santa Cruz, it was 76!!!!!!!!!!! So nuts!!!!!!!!!!

What a week!

Hello People! Well, what a week!!!!!!!! For those of you who know Philip's obsessive-ness about the SF Giants, his dream has come true! They won the world series and now all is good in the D'Andrea household. hahaha.

Our house is coming along great, starting to feel more like a home and I get to nest!!!!!! Which is awesome :) Really loving living close to my parents and Phil's too.

More good news, I can feel the baby move. For the past few days the baby has been moving like crazy, such an amazing feeling, no words to describe it. I think the baby likes ice cream just as much as I do :)

All tests we have done for the baby are all clear, so thats more good news.

On Novemeber 15th (monday) we find out the sex of the baby!
 Its a toss up for me, In the beginning I thought it was a girl, now who knows! We want a healthy baby :)

So place your bets on the sex.....we will know very soon.
