Honeymoon Pictures and update.....

Well, we are back from our lovely honeymoon in Cabo San Lucus! It was perfect! Great weather (80 and sunny) the food was great, hotel room was great, the bottled water was amazing!!!!!!!! Haha.

We took a ton of pics (on facebook) but I will post some on here.

I turned 6 months on Sat. Dec. 11th....and feeling good. She is growing more and more and I have a very clear pregnant belly now. It's crazy to be able to tell where her hands and feet are by her kicking. Phil is loving the fact that he can feel her move almost daily now. She seemed to like the sun and enjoyed the tan her mama got :)

I have a doc's app on monday for a normal check up.

We have our holiday hours at work so less work for me, thank god. Still getting tired at the end of the day.....what else is new?! Haha.

Honeymoon.....6 months later LOL....and 6 months pregnant LOL

Hello everyone, well we are finally going on our honeymoon to Cabo Mexico! So excited, you have NO idea!

We leave on Thursday and get back Tues of next week. 5 nights, 6 days....man o man! 80 degrees and sun....bring it on!

I'm starting to really feel pregnant, starting to slow down a little bit.....I still have energy, but the moment I sit down with my feet up I'm done! HAHA.

Philip has been really helpful, especially around the house :) My good friend let me borrow her elliptical exercise machine and its been rad to get moving again...don't worry I'm going slow!

Johanna is kicking more and more, mainly in the morning and at night when I lay down...she kicked Phil really hard the other night, he just had a huge smile on his face. It's a pretty weird feeling to have something moving in your tummy, naw.....its a CRAZY feeling!

We are still settling in at our new house, it's coming along though. Got a Christmas tree up! yahoo!

Very excited to leave this rain and cold......Ill post pics when we get back :)

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 

I am cooking my Dad's world famous onions (as he claims) They are wonderful and yummy. 

We are off to Glenn and Nancy's for a lovely night of food and family and friends. 

Baby Johanna is moving so much now, really showing me where her legs are haha. 

Hopefully she likes onions :) 

Life is wonderful, a lot to be thankful for this year! Wedding and marriage to my wonderful husband Philip, moving into our first home, baby Johanna, health, family, friends, kittens, a job, food, pumpkin pie..............so much! :)

FYI, I'm not registered at Old Navy but right now there are huge sales on baby girl clothes (SUPER CHEAP) and lots of PENGUIN stuff too. (For those who know me) FYI :)

Well its official, we are having a baby girl! Very exciting :)

Dr. Herold says everything is still perfect and all the baby parts are growing just as they should be!

We are all cleared to go to Mexico on Dec. 9th, dont worry I wont drink the water! LOL.

So happy, had a great time after the appointment with Mom, Dad, Erin, Marylou and Philip. It was an absolute beautiful day here in Santa Cruz, it was 76!!!!!!!!!!! So nuts!!!!!!!!!!

What a week!

Hello People! Well, what a week!!!!!!!! For those of you who know Philip's obsessive-ness about the SF Giants, his dream has come true! They won the world series and now all is good in the D'Andrea household. hahaha.

Our house is coming along great, starting to feel more like a home and I get to nest!!!!!! Which is awesome :) Really loving living close to my parents and Phil's too.

More good news, I can feel the baby move. For the past few days the baby has been moving like crazy, such an amazing feeling, no words to describe it. I think the baby likes ice cream just as much as I do :)

All tests we have done for the baby are all clear, so thats more good news.

On Novemeber 15th (monday) we find out the sex of the baby!
 Its a toss up for me, In the beginning I thought it was a girl, now who knows! We want a healthy baby :)

So place your bets on the sex.....we will know very soon.

4 Month update....

Hello everyone, sorry I'm a little late in terms of my updates because we have been moving out of our apartment in Santa Cruz and moving into a house in Ben Lomond! It's been a little nutty to say the least especially because I'm out of commission with lifting and moving etc. But, we did it! Thanks to a ton of people....Mom, Dad, Marylou, Dennis, my boss Mel, a ton of Philip's friends and my friends too :)

Anywho, on Saturday I'll be 17 weeks and feelin' it (to say the least) Everything is going well with the pregnancy I'm just super tired and needing more and more support from friends and family. Which I'm getting :)

We find out the sex of the baby on Nov. 15th!! I go into the Docs for another blood test (ugh) and to get a flu shot and whopping cough too. yikes. Eating more and more as the days go, trying to stay active although my job requires me to be constantly active which is nice but super tiring by 5pm....I dream of sleeping like 45 hours straight Haha.

It's getting colder and colder which is awesome for me cause I love to snuggle! Bring on the rain :)

Kittens are doing great too, they are slowly.........getting used to this new big house (Zoe was hiding in the fireplace for a few hours the other night) Now they are on my feet as I write this.....how nice it must be to be a cat.....sigh....................meow.

14 weeks...

I'm sitting here watching the Giants win the National League West and enjoying my husband running around the house yelling and dancing!

Meanwhile, I'm here on the couch sniffing away. I am very congested and not feeling well at all :( I read in my pregnancy book that it could mean there is more estrogen in your body or just that your sick! Since I work at a preschool I'm thinking its just a small minor cold but I guess I don't know.....

I'm growing more and more each day, I feel stronger each day but still have those "no energy" moments. I did manage to clean the kitchen today! Yahoo!!!!!!!!

In 2 weeks or so the book says I could start to feel the baby and at 20 weeks we can find out the sex if we want....still haven't officially decided if we are finding out yet. I think Philip really wants to know, I could go either way....

Hello Everyone :)

Well, this is our first blog!

We are doing well, I'm now 13 1/2 weeks pregnant and it's flying!!!! The weeks are going by and my belly is growing bigger and bigger each day it seems. No morning sickness, no night sickness, just feeling tired with bursts of energy! That has been the most enjoyable thing right now is feeling more energetic and actually having the energy to do laundry or make dinner! What a concept!!!!!! HAHA. Sleep is coming easier too, our kittens Chino and Zoe are loving running around like crazy animals whenever I use the bathroom in the middle of the night (which is like 5 times!) Grrrrrrr.....They better chill out soon!

Philip has been my rock, he has been the most loving, supportive, and best husband ever! I'm so lucky!! He goes shopping for me (the smell of being in Safeway kills me!) He talks to the baby every day and night and is just so excited to meet our little one in April. By the way, our doctor (Dr. Herold) is predicting our due date to be April 2 nd 2011.

So far we have had 1 ultrasound picture of the baby, looks like a fat peanut but a very cute fat peanut. (it was taken at my 8 week appointment) October 11th is our next ultrasound!
